About Wetzin’kwa
Wetzin’kwa Community Forest Corporation’s goal is to manage the area for the long term economic, environmental and social benefit of the residents of the Bulkley Valley. This includes:
Planning and management that will reflect the local communities’ values
Encouragment of a collaboriative, multi-resource user landbase; and
Maintaining functional integrity of ecosystems on the landbase for long term sustainability and diversity of plant and animal species.
Wetzin’kwa Community Forest Corporation follows applicable government legislation, regulations and policies in managing the community forest tenure.
